Dangerous Times: Global and geopolitical rivalry in our region and beyond. 

GUEST SPEAKER

Rouben Azizian is a Professor and previous Director of Massey University’s Centre for Defence and Security Studies (CDSS). He has previously taught Political Studies at the University of Auckland prior to 13 years with the US Defense Department’s Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) in Honolulu. He is a former Soviet and Russian diplomat, and was posted, among other locations, to New Zealand (1991-1994) as Counsellor and Deputy Chief of Mission. He is an Honorary Professor of the New Zealand Defence Force Command and Staff College.
